And honestly? Some days you hand it over. Because you're tired, you're driving, and it works.
But you don't love it. And you keep thinking — there has to be something better to put in their hands.
That's exactly where Nurtured Nest started. Not from a big moment or a grand plan. Just a mum, a restless kid in the backseat, and a stubborn belief that car trips could be something other than screen time.
Everything I found was the wrong thing...
Cheap plastic. Loud colours. Floppy trays that couldn't hold the weight of a book. Nothing that felt intentional - and nothing that looked like it belonged in a car I cared about.
I wanted something sturdy. Something beautiful. Something that made screen-free time feel like a treat, not a compromise. It didn't exist. So I built it.
